Next I use an assessment technique called Iridolgy, this is a non invasive exam of the Iris of your eye. The exam gives me important insights about your physical and emotional health.

FAQ

Your questions answered.

What is herbal medicine?

Herbal medicine is the study and exploration of the interactions between humans and plants. Herbal medicines are plant-based medicines made from differing combinations of plant parts e.g. leaves, flowers or roots.  Herbs are inexpensive, widely available and diverse in what they offer to us.

The healing power of nature is the intuitive healing process present in all living systems. My role is to facilitate and supplement this process by identifying and removing obstacles to health and recovery and by supporting the creation of health and vitality.

What is iridology?

Iridology is a natural non invasive tool used to observe the iris of the eye. By observing the iris we can determine the physical and emotional health of a person and suggest specific treatment protocols.

Iridology is the art and science of assessing the internal conditions and tendencies of the body, based on markings, coluor, textures and formation in the iris. I do this by taking a close up photo of your iris. I then upload the photo to a computer during the consultation.

We'll explore what your eyes say about your health. The eyes are not only the windows to the soul, they are an extension of the nervous system! They indicate much about what you've inherited in health from previous generations and with this knowledge, adjustments to diet and lifestyle can be a powerful tool for disease prevention.

What  is a tinture?

Tinctures are concentrated herbal extracts made by soaking the bark, berries, leaves (dried or fresh), or roots from one or more plants in alcohol or vinegar. The alcohol or vinegar pulls out the active ingredients in the plant parts, concentrating them as a liquid.
